HOPE IS 2 PAGES AWAY!

Have you checked out the magazine? I'm telling you it is great! It is written by ordinary people with amazing insight. People who inspire. People of action. People just like you and me, who don't use excuses as a crutches to withdraw from action. People who just "B", by wearing what they believe. Let's hear from you, who and what inspires you? What drives you? In fact, how do you inspire?

WHAT STRESS REALLY IS...

Everyone loves the idea of being BIG, BAD, and STRONG. In fact, we all are (in our own right). Some of us are talented in communication, others in music, vision, and more. But the issue often time strengthens our belief that we can fix everything and we know that this is not true. Because of our inability to fix what we simply can't, it causes stress. I realized STRESS = Humans trying to be God. Know our place and learn how to relax. Find hope in the fact that someone loves you even more than you love you. WEAR WHAT YOU BELIEVE!

ORDINARY + ORDINARY = EXTRAORDINARY

The first step to inspiring others is to recognize who we are. It is true that as individuals we are ordinary people. But when we take our ordinary abilities to encourage others to use theirs, it causes a chain reaction. That chain reaction is EXTRAORDINARY. Think about, one ordinary plus another equals extraordinary. LOL. That's common math! Because you purchased items through BELOW THE BRIM, LLC we were able to give support to Haiti. Thank you!

HOPE CHANGES THINGS

Thank you Chris Summey (2Edify) for the above art. BELOW THE BRIM appreciates your contribution and hard work used to inspire others.

Quotes from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr:
"All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence."
"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."
"Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase."

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a person with personal and public troubles, issues, and imperfections continued to leave a legacy that we benefit from. He’s an agent of HOPE and a carrier of CHANGE. Let’s LIVE A LEGACY rather than strive only to leave one. We maybe far from perfect but we can use our talents, gifts, and skills to live purposefully. WEAR WHAT YOU BELIEVE!

GIVING HOPE by BELOW THE BRIM

video

The Childrens Hospital Project is going great! Well, atleast from the perspective of close friends and relatives. I will soon present these sketches (shown in the above video) to the Interior Designer of the Childrens Hospital for feedback. So keep us in your prayers. I have some amazing ideas for this project. Will it be more work? YES! But you can't give HOPE by halfway doing things. WEAR WHAT YOU BELIEVE!

HOPE: HELP ME FIND IT

So I was looking all over for videos that provided a true story about people who are doing wonderous things not in a national way. Just local gleams of hope for ordinary people from ordinary people. I'm not looking for a particular concept but where is the news that speaks of the woman who gives the man down the street a bag of groceries because she knows he is hungry? What about the family that visits the local hospital on a regular bases to bring life to people they don't know? Or the young man who volunteers weekly as a mentor to other young men hoping that they choose the opposite path he chose. I'm looking for positive news... I am on the search to bring the world HOPE... from myself and from others. Could you go on a mission with me and look for people who are wearing what they believe day in and day out? If so holla...let me here you!
